Who we are

The Muslim Students' Association, HKU (MSAHKU) is an officially registered student society of The University of Hong Kong.

We represent and support the Muslim community across HKU — from our core community of Muslim staff and students, to visiting professors, lecturers, renowned guests, and participants of HKU's international programmes during their time on campus. As an officially recognized student society, we're also able to book venues, hold events, and liaise directly with HKU's administration on behalf of that community.

Starting university can feel overwhelming: new city, new people, new challenges. MSA is here to make sure no one has to face that alone. We represent the Muslim community on campus, reminding one another of Allah (the one God), of what truly matters, and of the strength found in brotherhood and sisterhood. At the same time, our doors are open to everyone: Muslims and non-Muslims, locals and internationals, regardless of faith, background, or race.

MSA strives to be more than just a society — we aim to be a family that encourages good, inspires excellence, and builds bridges across cultures and faiths. When Muslims are connected to MSA, we truly become a body that represents, unites, and empowers, while welcoming all who wish to share in the spirit of community.
